Today

Today I marketed which was good - continuing to have really good reaction all the fun and colour at the stall and it's nice to see everything laid out and displayed after being all packed up in suitcases and rubber crates for a few weeks. I sold quite a few knit kits for a change - people seemed to be in the mood to learn to knit which was fun. I was also evangelising for Ravelry and Knitty left, right and centre - somehow can't help myself!

There's really no predicting what will sell and if things will be busy or not, but it's always interesting to see how the day unfolds. The only downside really is having to get up at bloody half six on a Saturday morning (double ugh!) I was especially unimpressed as it was absolutely chucking it down (an apt expression in this case!) Thankfully the rain didn't seem to put people off coming down for a nosey and I'd cannily brought a flask of coffee (trying not to spend all the profits at Java Man) so that got me through the first few hours.

In case you're wondering, our next appearance at St George's will be Saturday 26th July.
