After a long absence on my (Beth's) part, caused by a charity run dressed as John McEnroe, my sister in law to be's hen night, a week in Dingle, and a wee trip to Dublin, I was delighted to be back at the lovely St George's today (and I promise to try and organise my time better). The weather was bonkers, sun splitting the rocks one minute, and monsoon the next. The punters however were not put off and the market was nice and lively, with plenty of people stopping to browse and chat. The music was awesome too. I'm a poor blogger so I didn't catch the guy's name - will find out and let you know! I was accompanied today by Rich, long suffering knitting widower, who did all the heavy lifting, due my bad back (caused by the youngest son being 25 pounds at 11 months - and that's a medical opinion...). So we had a lovely morning, sans sons, drinking coffee and nattering. Happy times.
The cards and tea cosies were the winners of the most popular stuff competition today. My beloved felt bags were much touched and remarked upon, but alas no takers. Maybe next time.
Speaking of, I'm 99% sure I'll be back on 16th August with one of my many little sisters, the ever stylish Charlotte. So come and visit, we'd love to see you.
